Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in New York seeks an Equity Research Associate to join the Endowments & Foundations Investment Team (E&F) within the Private Bank.

You will report to the Head of Equities and contribute to the equity research and investment process, building depth across global equities and exposure to portfolio construction. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience, preferably in an investment-related role.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Bloomberg, FactSet, and/or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; comfort with data (coding skills a plus).
• Outstanding attention to detail and ability to work under time pressure.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interest in research and markets; understanding of financial fundamentals, risk management topics, and multi-asset portfolio management concepts.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment on a global team.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Head of Equities to conduct original investment research and idea generation across global equities (fundamental and macro; developed and emerging markets).
• Support equity portfolio implementation, including due diligence on third-party funds/vehicles.
• Maintain and improve internal tools to monitor markets and track research theses.
• Present research findings and portfolio updates to the investment team.
• Conduct meetings with sell-side analysts, industry experts, and third-party managers.
• Assist with portfolio management activities including trade planning and performance analysis.
• Collaborate with global internal partners such as client advisors and trade execution specialists.
