Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience as an equity analyst/associate in a trading environment.
• Experience covering a broad range of sectors.
• Comfort with incomplete information and using quantitative data complemented by qualitative insight.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time news analysis to traders and assess potential impact.
• Provide critical feedback on company analyses and potential market effects.
• Construct possible outcomes for short and medium-term equity moves.
• Stay updated on major US sectors including biotech, healthcare, financials, energy, tech, and industrial.
• Assess risks for equity positions through due diligence on existing positions and macro events.
• Collaborate with trading to analyze company events and manage risk around expected impacts.
• Help shape the future vision of the IMC research team.
