Job summary

Deutsche Bank is seeking a Portfolio Manager, Equity in New York, NY. You will develop expertise across sub-industries, actively covering 60–80 securities and delivering alpha-driven ideas.

A Bachelor’s in Economics/Finance and 3 years of equity research in TMT are required, with strong financial modeling and valuation skills. You will use Bloomberg and FactSet for data, perform comprehensive analyses, and present actionable recommendations to portfolio managers as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or related field or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of equity research experience focused on TMT (tech, media, AI).
• Experience covering 60–80 securities with alpha-driven ideas.
• Strong financial statement analysis and three-statement modeling.

Responsibilities

• Cover 60–80 securities across selected sub-industries and generate alpha ideas.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models and long-term forecasts.
• Perform DCF, comps, and historical multiple valuation analyses.
• Conduct due diligence using SEC filings, earnings calls, and investor materials.
• Communicate insights to portfolio managers and collaborate with teams.
