Qualifications

• Knowledge of applicable Washington State and federal rules and regulations.
• Knowledge of subject matter/course content relevant to assignment.
• Knowledge of effective instructional strategies and practices.
• Knowledge of and skills in using various formative and summative assessments.
• Knowledge of state mandated testing.
• Ability to work with diverse learners including ELL and students with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate effective classroom instruction aligned with district curriculum.
• Participate in team planning to improve instructional practices and student learning.
• Diagnose and prescribe learning plans based on aptitude and level to support achievement.
• Develop instructional goals and objectives for teaching assignments.
• Use data to modify instruction and improve student learning.
• Communicate effectively with parents and school community.
