Job summary

EdgeCore Digital Infrastructure is seeking a Data Engineer in Denver to scale data architecture, automation, and analytics. You will design and maintain Databricks pipelines using PySpark, SparkSQL, and SQL, and build Power BI dashboards for operations, finance, and AI-enabled insights.

The role collaborates with a Data Architect and stakeholders to deliver automated, reliable data solutions in a fast-moving environment, with in-office presence four days weekly in downtown Denver.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering.
• Hands-on PySpark and SparkSQL in Databricks experience required.
• Strong data visualization skills, preferably Power BI.
• Ability to translate data into trusted reporting assets.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure/AWS) a plus.
• Experience with data quality, validation, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Databricks data pipelines with PySpark and SQL.
• Create reliable Power BI dashboards and semantic models for self-service reporting.
• Own data modeling and curated datasets for reporting, billing, and metrics.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to capture data requirements and logic.
• Support ingestion, transformation, storage, and orchestration in the Azure data platform.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve data pipelines for reliability and accuracy.
• Apply data quality checks and maintain documentation and repeatable practices.
