Job summary

Springfield Public Schools is seeking a Middle School Math Teacher to lead rigorous, standards-aligned instruction for grades 6-8 within the SEZP framework. The role starts August 2026 and offers a base salary up to $96,864.45, commensurate with experience.

You will collaborate with coaches and families, participate in PLCs, and help develop future educators while supporting a culture of belonging and opportunity.

Qualifications

• Mid/secondary school teaching experience.
• Massachusetts DESE Mathematics license or eligible licensure waiver.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver standards-aligned math instruction using data-informed practices.
• Build inclusive classroom communities supporting diverse learners.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional learning communities.
• Engage families through regular communication and problem-solving.
• Support students’ transition to high school with growth-focused coaching.
