Job summary

Esd113 is seeking an instructional leader to guide K-8 curriculum, assessment, and teacher development within Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. The role focuses on alignment to NC standards and CMS frameworks, coaching teachers, and leading PLCs.

You will collaborate with the principal, monitor school improvement plans, mentor multilingual learners, and build strong relationships with staff and families to foster an inclusive, data-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• Valid NC teaching license required
• Minimum of three (3) years' experience in education or related area required
• Equivalent combination of experience and education

Responsibilities

• Lead instruction aligned to NC standards and CMS frameworks.
• Provide instructional coaching and PLC feedback loops.
• Facilitate professional development for culturally responsive practices.
• Model effective teaching, lesson design, differentiation, and PBIS-aligned management.
• Coordinate curriculum, instruction, and assessment across grades and language programs.
• Lead data analysis meetings to inform instructional decisions.
• Support school improvement plans and SMART goals.
