Job summary

World Resources Institute (WRI) in Washington, DC offers a part-time internship (20 hours/week) focused on integrating equity into program work for the HAC for N&P. The hybrid role requires 4 days per month in the DC office and DC/MD/VA residency to start, with eligibility to work in the United States.

You will support technical assistance, capacity building, webinars, and grants monitoring, reporting, and data tasks under senior staff.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed a bachelor’s degree in biodiversity conservation, environmental studies, international relations or a related discipline.
• Analytical skills with exposure to environmental policy.
• Familiarity with Microsoft365 Suite and SharePoint.
• Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across countries and backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Support integration of equity into internship work.
• Assist in organizing webinars and in-person events for HAC for N&P.
• Support monitoring and reporting of grant activities and compliance with requirements.
• Assist in producing Target 3 regional workshops analysis and related communications.
