Job summary

San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) seeks a Manager of Equity Compliance to lead the Legal Division’s transformational work. You will conduct compliance training, investigate discrimination and harassment complaints, and manage compliance with state and federal laws and district policies.

You will report to the Executive Director of the Office of Equity and collaborate with district leaders to strengthen Title IX coordination, policy updates, and staff training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; three years of related professional-level experience.
• Advanced degree preferred and may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis.
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead training on Title IX, nondiscrimination policies, and related procedures.
• Investigate formal sexual harassment and discrimination complaints.
• Draft findings and recommendations for remedial or disciplinary actions.
• Develop guidance for school-site leaders and district staff.
• Maintain and improve equity-related policies and district websites.
• Coordinate with district leaders to ensure compliance with state and federal laws.
