Job summary

FIRY is seeking an Accounting Manager, Stock-Based Compensation & Administration, to own the administration, accounting and compliance of equity programs. You will ensure accuracy, audit-readiness and scalable processes across the company.

The role requires 5+ years in equity compensation, knowledge of ASC 718 and SOX, and collaboration with Legal, HR, Payroll and Finance. Onsite in Las Vegas with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in equity compensation administration and/or stock-based compensation accounting.
• Equity compensation administered within a corporate accounting department.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 718 and SOX controls.
• Hands-on experience with equity administration or cap-table platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CEP designation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer the full award lifecycle from grant through settlement as the primary contact for participants.
• Own ASC 718 stock-based compensation accounting, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Run SOX controls for equity and support internal/external audits.
• Collaborate with Legal, HR, Payroll and Finance to maintain accurate equity activity and improve processes.

About The Role

As an Accounting Manager, Stock-Based Compensation & Administration, you’ll own the administration, accounting and compliance of Firy’s equity plans. Your work makes sure our equity programs run accurately, stay audit-ready and scale with the business.

Responsibilities

• Administer the full award lifecycle, from grant through settlement, and serve as the go-to contact for plan participants.
• Own ASC 718 stock-based compensation accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations and disclosure support.
• Run SOX controls for equity and be the main point of contact for internal and external audits.
• Partner with Legal, HR, Payroll and Finance to keep equity activity on track, and document and improve key processes along the way.

Key Competencies

• Deep technical accounting knowledge, with the judgment to know when to escape
• Strong attention to accuracy and full ownership of deadlines
• A controls-first mindset focused on data integrity and audit readiness
• Clear communication and the ability to build trust across teams

Experience

• 5+ years in equity compensation administration and/or stock-based compensation accounting
• Must have equity compensation administration within a corporate accounting department
• Strong working knowledge of ASC 718 and SOX controls
• Hands-on experience with equity administration or cap-table platforms
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CEP designation is a plus

Total Starting Compensation including Base + Bonus:
