Job summary

NVIDIA seeks an AI-enabled drug discovery science leader to coordinate science streams across RNA therapeutics, data generation, modeling, automation, and platform engineering. The role requires hands-on guidance of science teams and the ability to align experiments, data, models, and compute activities.

The candidate will harness high-content data, lead cross-disciplinary programs, and drive translational science while coordinating with external partners.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent experience in life sciences, therapeutic discovery, chemical biology, molecular pharmacology, computational biology, bioengineering, or related field.
• 12+ years of research or drug-discovery experience in therapeutic discovery, platform biology.
• Deep understanding of therapeutic development and translational biology including target identification, context, efficacy/selectivity tradeoffs, safety, and data quality.
• Experience leading large interdisciplinary teams combining experimental science, computational modeling, automation, data analysis, data platforms, and external partners.
• Proven ability to lead in matrixed environments with shared scientific direction, program priorities, and execution accountability.
• Proficiency with high-content and high-throughput data generation across molecular, cellular, and functional readouts.
• Ability to collaborate with AI and infrastructure teams on model requirements, data lineage, compute planning, and closed-loop experimentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the operating plan across research priorities, execution, and program achievements.
• Convert scientific therapeutic objectives into executable plans.
• Lead NVIDIA workstreams spanning data curation, analysis, machine learning, automation, and platform engineering.
• Collaborate on assay and readout strategies to ensure AI-ready data.
• Guide closed-loop learning across AI-generated hypotheses, automated experiments, and model updates.
• Review science validity for key biology applications.
• Establish governance: reviews, logs, risk tracking, quality thresholds, and issue resolution paths.
• Account for workstream progress through readouts for leadership including decisions, dependencies, and resource needs.
