Focus Financial Partners in New York is seeking an Equity Analyst to join their team. This role involves conducting equity research within the Financials sector, maintaining financial models, and preparing investment reports.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree, relevant experience in equity research, and strong analytical skills. This is a hybrid position, requiring at least four days in the office, and offers a comprehensive compensation package ranging from $175,000 to $225,000 annually.
Williams Jones, founded in 1988, is a SEC-registered investment advisory firm specializing in customized wealth management services for private individuals, retirement plans, and non-profit organizations. The firm currently manages over $12.5 billion in equity, fixed‑income and alternative investments. Our team of portfolio managers averages 35 years of experience and works directly with each client to determine their investment goals and objectives.
We are seeking an Equity Analyst to join Williams Jones’ collaborative team. The analyst will contribute to the team’s coverage of the Financials sector, broadly defined to include Digital Assets, Alternative Asset Managers, Payments, and Fintech Software, while also supporting firm‑wide investment research initiatives. The analyst will take full ownership of their coverage universe and will have direct exposure to the Portfolio Management team – including developing and pitching new ideas to the group.
This is a hybrid position: minimum four days in office.

The annualized “all‑in” compensation range for this role is expected to be between $175,000 and $225,000. Actual base pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant’s skill set. The base pay is one component of the total compensation package. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k).
