Playhouse is casting Equity actors for its 2027 season, with auditions conducted locally in the Golden area. The contract is an Independent Theatre Contract with a weekly minimum of $395 for 2026 rates. Prepare two contrasting monologues (each up to 90 seconds) and optionally one song; accompanist provided.

Bring Equity card; Equity Monitor not provided. Rehearsals begin 01/04/2027, opening 01/29/2027, closing 03/07/2027, with performances Thu–Sat 7:30 PM and Sun 2 PM.

PREPARATION:

• Please prepare two contrasting monologues no longer than 90 seconds each.

• An accompanist will be provided.
• An Equity Monitor will not be provided.
• The producer will run all aspects of this audition.
