The Equitable and Accessible Mobility Program Coordinator will play a key role in supporting equitable and accessible transportation programs at MTC, with a focus on improving mobility options for residents of Equity Priority Communities, people with disabilities, seniors, and other underserved populations. Responsibilities include helping launch and administer the new Transportation Network Company (TNC) Access for All program, supporting implementation of the Community Action Resource and Empowerment (CARE) program to enable delivery of equityfocused capital projects, administering the Federal Transit Administration Section 5310 program, and advancing followup actions from MTC’s Accessible Futures conference. The role involves program development, grant administration, and close coordination with partner agencies and communitybased organizations, as well as providing technical assistance, monitoring project progress, and tracking grant spending to ensure programs are implemented effectively and inclusively.

Education and Experience: Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in planning, civil engineering, environmental science, business or public administration, or a related field and two (2) years of increasingly responsible professional level experience in a field related to assigned program.
Education and Experience: Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in planning, civil engineering, environmental science, business or public administration, or a related field and five (5) years of increasingly responsible professional experience administering programs in a field related to assignment area.
Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field related to the area of assignment, such as transportation planning, public policy, transportation engineering, economics, or public administration. A Master’s degree is preferred.
