Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking an Equipment Associate for portable sanitation to help keep our fleet rent-ready and well maintained. You will perform routine checks, assist with loading/unloading, and support yard operations while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

The role involves manual tasks, potential weekend hours, and opportunities for advancement into Driver and Service Technician programs within a leading equipment rental company. Training is provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency is required.
• Excellent safety awareness and diligent attitude.
• Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Able to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs and work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Perform routine checks on portable sanitation equipment to ensure safety and operability.
• General facility maintenance and minor repairs.
• Load and unload units manually or with a forklift as required.
• Use hand tools (drill, rivet tool) for maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain inventory spaces and keep yard organized.
• Ensure trucks are loaded correctly with units cleaned and repaired to standards.
