Job summary

InsightFS in Jefferson, Wisconsin is seeking a Vehicle and Equipment Maintenance Technician to schedule and perform repairs on a range of trucks, tractors, and farm equipment. You will maintain parts inventory, document service records to meet DOT requirements, and back up drivers as needed.

A high school diploma and 5+ years of related experience are required, with a valid CDL Hazmat/tanker endorsement preferred. A strong commitment to safety and quality is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of related work experience.
• Fabrication, cutting, welding, bearing replacement, engine service/maintenance/adjustments (gas & diesel), automotive electrical, brake adjustment/repair (mechanical & air), and hydraulic troubleshooting/repair.
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record. CDL with Hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• Ability to travel independently and overnight.
• Must be able to work extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Schedules maintenance and repairs of vehicles and equipment.
• Maintains inventory of parts for repairs.
• Keeps service records and documents quality maintenance.
• Housekeeping of the shop and safety compliance.
• May provide backup to drivers in Energy and Crops Departments.
• Follows Code of Conduct and corporate compliance policies.
