Job summary

Wagner Equipment Co. operates Wagner CAT Rentals and is seeking a Rental Equipment Transport Driver to load, unload, and deliver equipment to customer sites and branches.

You will maintain paperwork, ensure a professional appearance of all vehicles, and adhere to safety protocols and DOT regulations. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 3–5 years of driving, administrative and customer service experience, plus 1–3 years knowledge of construction equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years professional driving experience.
• 3–5 years administrative/clerical experience.
• 3–5 years customer service experience.
• 1–3 years working knowledge of construction equipment.

Responsibilities

• Completes and maintains daily truck log, fuel/mileage reports, IFTA paperwork, and DOT logs.
• Manages day-to-day use and reporting of company fuel card.
• Reports unsafe conditions regarding equipment usage.
• Keeps vehicle clean and DOT compliant.
• Collaborates with manager to implement changes and improve routines.
• Assists other departments when needed.
• Meets customer needs in a professional manner.
• Explains operations to customers and demonstrates equipment use.
• Inspects equipment for damage and documents findings.
