U-Haul is hiring a Transfer Driver to move equipment between centers, dealerships and repair shops, ensuring customers receive quality care. You’ll use U-Haul’s tech to assess and care for field vehicles and benefit from growth opportunities and a robust training program.

The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and teamwork, with potential DOT sponsorship for required certifications and a pathway to career advancement within a large fleet.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Able to use mobile transfer programs.
• D.O.T. certification if required—can be sponsored by U-Haul.
• Must be 18 or older.

Responsibilities

• Fill in receipt and intake paperwork electronically.
• Transport U-Haul equipment between U-Haul centers, dealerships and the repair shop.
• Perform visual inspections of equipment.
• Maintain a driver log.
• Team Members are expected to willingly lend assistance in additional areas as necessary, following the directives and guidance of their supervisor.
