Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Technician 1 to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment, including diesel machines, generators and HVAC systems. You will work with a safety-focused team and have opportunities to grow toward service or operations management tracks.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years of technician experience; trade school training is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 1–3 years of Technician experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty lines equipment (generally preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment to minimize downtime.
• Work with a safety-focused team and adapt to varying job-site requirements.
• Assist with service and operation-management career development as part of the role.
