Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals in Wisconsin is seeking a Technician 1 to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet, including aerial platforms, pumps, HVAC, and other construction tools. You’ll work with a safety-focused team in a fast-paced environment and develop skills for a career path in service or operations management.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (trade training preferred) and 1–3 years of technician experience with diesel or heavy equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 1–3 years of Technician experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty lines equipment strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals; knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment to minimize downtime.
• Work with a safety-focused team across a varied fleet including generators, pumps, HVAC equipment and general construction tools.
