Job summary

Boviet Solar is seeking a maintenance technician to operate, inspect, and maintain PV module production line equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure equipment reliability to support stable production operations.

The role requires hands-on experience with mechanical maintenance tools and experience in the solar industry, plus an Associate degree in science/engineering. On-site work in North Carolina may involve overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, routine patrols, and preventive maintenance on photovoltaic (PV) module production line equipment.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules (daily/weekly/monthly) including lubrication, tightening, cleaning, and parameter adjustments.
• Maintain accurate equipment operating records, maintenance logs, and abnormality reports for traceability.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, reset, and repair production line equipment to maximize uptime and minimize downtime.
• Provide on-site technical support to maintain production efficiency and assist in emergency repairs as needed.

Job Summary

Ensure equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and support stable production operations through effective maintenance practices, rapid response to equipment issues, and continuous equipment performance improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, routine patrols, and preventive maintenance on photovoltaic (PV) module production line equipment.
• Strictly follow daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance schedules, including lubrication, tightening, cleaning, and equipment parameter adjustments to minimize equipment failures and improve reliability.
• Maintain accurate and complete equipment operating records, maintenance logs, and abnormality reports to ensure traceability and compliance.
• Quickly diagnose, troubleshoot, reset, and repair production line equipment failures to maximize equipment uptime and minimize production downtime.
• Support production operations by ensuring equipment availability, participating in emergency repairs, working overtime when required, and providing on-site technical support to maintain production efficiency.

Education

• Associate degree in science and engineering related disciplines such as physics, electronics and mechanical.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of related experience.
• Proficient in using all kinds of mechanical maintenance tools.
• Proficient in operating and maintaining equipment in solar industry.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Familiar with management system and methods of manufacturing equipment.
