Every patient interaction depends on the quiet readiness of the equipment behind the scenes. As an Equipment Tech, you play a vital role in keeping care moving safely and seamlessly by ensuring essential patient equipment is clean, available, and ready exactly when clinicians need it most.
In this hands‑on role, you support daily hospital operations by cleaning, disinfecting, staging, and distributing patient care equipment across inpatient units, ICUs, the Emergency Department, and other clinical areas at Stanford Health Care’s Palo Alto campus. You’ll work onsite as an individual contributor, partnering closely with clinical teams to maintain equipment availability, accuracy, and safety while following infection prevention, privacy, and service standards.

Generally starting at $29.47 - $37.57 per hour.
