Location: Broussard, LA
Pay: $16.00–$18.00 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, on-call every other week.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and mechanically skilled Downhole Rental Tool Maintenance Technician to join our client's team in Broussard, LA. This position is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair, and rebuilding of oilfield rental equipment.

The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience working with barrel tanks, Chiksan iron, and gate valves. Candidates with previous oilfield equipment rental, shop maintenance, or mechanical repair experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

Job Responsibilities

Inspect, maintain, and repair oilfield rental equipment.

Perform maintenance on 50 BBL, 100 BBL, and 200 BBL barrel tanks.

Disassemble, inspect, repair, and rebuild Chiksan iron.

Perform maintenance, repairs, and rebuilding of gate valves.

Required Qualifications

Previous experience in oilfield equipment maintenance, mechanical repair, or a similar shop environment.

Hands‑on experience working with 50 BBL, 100 BBL, and/or 200 BBL barrel tanks.

Hands on knowledge of Chiksan iron and gate valves.

Experience disassembling, repairing, or rebuilding Chiksan iron and gate valves is highly preferred.

Ability to identify equipment components and understand how equipment is assembled.

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
