Job summary

Sunstate Equipment Co., LLC in La Vergne, TN is hiring Equipment Support II to assist drivers, mechanics and customers with equipment operations, loading and unloading for transport. You will help ensure rental equipment is clean, safe to operate, and ready for use, while working primarily outdoors.

Strong emphasis on safety, teamwork, and the ability to work in varying weather conditions, with opportunities for career advancement within a growing company.

Qualifications

• Experience operating construction equipment is preferred.
• Must be comfortable operating equipment and keeping it clean and ready for rent.
• Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions and prioritize safety.

Responsibilities

Typical Schedule: Monday - Friday: No nights or Weekends - Morning Shift: Usually 7:00AM - 4:00PM (Overtime Eligible - Based on Business Needs)

• Previous 1 year of experience with operating construction equipment, or construction experience is preferred.
• You will be assisting our drivers, mechanics, and customers with operations, loading, and unloading of equipment for transport.
• Must be comfortable operating equipment, and ensuring equipment is properly cleaned and ready for rent.
• Must be comfortable working outside within the elements within our shop, branch, and yard.
