Cryogene is seeking an Equipment Specialist to assist in maintaining and installing biorepository equipment, monitor refrigeration and LN2 systems, and support daily facility operations in a GDP/GMP compliant environment.

The role includes supporting audits, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring safety and regulatory standards are upheld. Evening/weekend work may be required to maintain cryorepository operations quality.

Qualificações

• 2+ years of experience as a Facilities Technician/specialist or in a similar role.
• Associate’s Degree or equivalent education.
• Occasionally lift/carry up to 50lbs and push/pull heavy objects.
• Health, Safety and Environmental operations experience; OSHA certification desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor refrigeration and LN2 vessels; perform LN2 fills as needed.

They have proudly provided storage, receiving and distribution for local, regional, national and international research centers for over 15 years.POSITION SUMMARYThe Equipment Specialist will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance, installation, and repairs of repository equipment. This role will also assist the Facilities department with repairs of critical infrastructure in the Biorepository and aid in the response of critical alarms. The Equipment Specialist will maintain accurate maintenance and quality documentation in accordance with GDP and GMP requirements and support compliance with all applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. Occasionally required to push/roll 280kg lb liquid nitrogen dewars and 4-500kg freezers (with support), and work from a platform ladderControlled environment storage and distribution operations experienceHealth, Safety and Environmental operations experience; Health, Safety & Environmental certification highly desirable (eg OSHA)Project management experience (desirable)Proficient computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office Suite.Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance in a GMP environmentExperience working with GDPBasic knowledge of cryogenic gas storage & distribution systems (desirable)DRUG TESTThis position is subject to pre-employment drug testing in accordance with our commitment to maintaining a safe, and drug-free workplace.
