Paycom - ATS in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Cooler Service Apprentice to learn from and assist the Cooler Service Technician in mechanical services on cold drink equipment at customer locations. You will diagnose, repair, and install fountain machines, coolers, and vending machines in a structured sequence while maintaining safety, inventory, and customer relations.

Role requires a valid driver's license, minimal supervision, and flexibility for overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of general work experience.
• Prior diagnostic troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated mechanical, technical, and electrical aptitude.
• Valid driver’s license and excellent driving record are required.
• Work with minimal supervision; be a self-starter, team player and have the motivation to learn.
• Flexible to work a schedule that may include daily overtime, holidays, evenings and weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Learn to diagnose, repair, and install fountain machines, glass door coolers, and vending machines in an orderly sequence.
• Maneuver equipment to perform all mechanical services on cold drink equipment including preventative maintenance.
• Help Cooler Service Technicians to keep refrigeration equipment in proper operating condition.
• Prepare equipment in accordance with company standards.
• Ensure proper functionality (clean, test, and repair before and after installation) of machines for consumer use.
• Maintain accurate parts inventory to manage, document, stock, and change parts for quality assurance and customer care.
• Maintain clean and safe work area.
• Maintain positive customer relationships.
• Communicate timely issues or opportunities to supervisor/account manager.

Objective: The Cooler Service Apprentice’s primary function is to learn from and assist the Cooler Service Technician by performing mechanical services on cold drink equipment at customer locations within a designated territory or region.
