Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Billing Specialist to support the equipment fulfillment process by issuing purchase orders, reconciling invoices, and updating customer order status sheets with accuracy.

You will process service documents, assist with credit approvals, obtain ship dates, inform customers of updates, and distribute IOMs and submittals. The hybrid onsite schedule reflects our collaborative HVAC focus.

Qualifications

• One-year certificate from college or technical school and three (3) plus years of related billing experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Candidates without a 4-year degree are encouraged to apply; we prioritize practical experience, relevant skills, and alignment with our leadership principles.
• Participate in and contribute to lean improvements activities.
• Must have strong communication skills, proactive approach with willingness to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Proven experience prioritizing tasks in order to meet tight deadlines within a high-paced environment.
• Familiarity with the operation of HVAC Systems preferred not required.
• Flexibility to work overtime/ weekends, as required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain Trane and vendor estimated ship dates and update appropriate schedules.
• Assist with communication to customers regarding shipping updates.
• Forward warranty standard documents to customers.
• Manage receipt of installation operation and maintenance manuals (IOMs).
• Distribute IOMs to customers.
• Assist with distribution and receipt of submittals.
• Responsible for general administrative functions to support the equipment fulfillment process.

Where Is The Work

Monday to Thursday, work onsite with your colleagues. Fridays, choose your work location, balancing what your work requires.
