Job summary

Taylor Print & Visual Impressions, a Taylor Corporation company, is seeking an Equipment Operator for the Bloomington, IL team. You will prepare and operate printing press equipment according to job specs and maintain quality standards.

The role requires precise tolerances, math and mechanical aptitude, and good reading ability; second shift 3:00pm - 11:30pm, Monday to Friday, with an hourly wage in the $19-21 range.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate printing press equipment, in compliance with job specifications and in accordance with company quality standards and procedures
• Performs daily/weekly/monthly maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum output
• Prepare inks for proper color and consistency
• Check paper for type, size, color and quantity
• Check plates for correct format
• Visually inspect forms throughout run for quality
• Coordinate with Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs, and when necessary reorganize to meet deadline changes and updates
• Maintain knowledge of safety requirements of job and equipment

Your Opportunity : Taylor Print & Visual Impressions, a Taylor Corporation company, is looking for an Equipment Operator to join the Bloomington, IL Team.

Work Authorization:

Your Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate printing press equipment, in compliance with job specifications and in accordance with company quality standards and procedures
• Performs daily/weekly/monthly maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum output
• Prepare inks for proper color and consistency

• Check plates for correct format

Your Shift: 2nd Shift, 3:00pm - 11:30pm, Monday - Friday

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $19-21. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employees.
