Job summary

SilkRoad in Concord, NC is seeking an equipment operator to support construction projects, pipe replacement, and right-of-way maintenance. You will operate bobcat, dump truck, and hydro seeder, and you will document daily activities and work orders.

The role requires knowledge of construction principles, proper operation and maintenance of equipment, and adherence to local and federal regulations. A valid North Carolina Class A CDL is required, and candidates must meet driving record criteria.

• Generates and completes assigned work orders and documents daily activities.
• Completes inspection and/or pre-operational checklist on equipment and requests or performs preventative maintenance and cleaning.
• Provides information to and assists customers.
