  • Perform routine preventive maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication within the scope of training.

  • Promptly report equipment malfunctions, repair needs, unsafe conditions, spills, and incidents to management.

  • Maintain accurate equipment inspection, operation, and project records.

  • Keep equipment, tools, and work areas clean and organized.

  • Follow project instructions, environmental requirements, and site safety procedures.

  • Wear all required personal protective equipment.

  • Communicate effectively with the Project Manager, coworkers, and customers.

  • Travel between assigned project locations and work required overtime.

  • Adapt to changing project needs, schedules, and work locations.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent GED.

  • Valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record.

  • Willingness and ability to travel throughout Georgia and Alabama.

  • Availability to work approximately 50–70 hours per week, including required overtime.

  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

  • Ability to perform both equipment operation and physically demanding manual labor.

  • Willingness to work around biosolids, organic materials, and unpleasant odors.

  • Commitment to safe equipment operation and proper use of personal protective equipment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • At least two years of heavy equipment operating experience.

  • Experience operating front-end loaders, skid steers, excavators/track hoes, or bulldozers.

  • Class A CDL.

  • Dump truck and/or yard jockey experience.

  • Experience with wastewater treatment, biosolids handling, lagoon cleaning, or similar project work.

  • Basic mechanical knowledge and equipment maintenance skills.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

  • Regularly sit, stand, walk, bend, climb, balance, and reach.

  • Lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

  • Climb on and off equipment and work on uneven or wet surfaces.
