Job summary

Best Block is seeking an EquipmentOperator to join our manufacturing team in Florida. You will safely operate and maintain a computerized production machine, perform setup, take measurements, and help ensure quality production.

Responsibilities include forklift operation, palletizing and packaging concrete products, and performing routine maintenance. A minimum of 1 year manufacturing experience and strong mechanical aptitude are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, power, transmission, pneumatic, and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a sophisticated computerized manufacturing machine.
• Report information to the plant manager.
• Use equipment to meet manufacturing specifications.
• Take measurements to monitor process and ensure quality production.
• Machine maintenance and setup.
• Clean machinery.
• Operate forklift.
• Perform general labor tasks as needed.
• Palletize and package concrete products.
