Position Summary

The Equipment Operator operates motorized riding equipment within the Distribution Center, manually loads and unloads trailers, moves merchandise to designated areas, and handles merchandise storage and retrieval. Cross-training in other departments and participation in special projects may be required.

Essential Functions

• Repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Operate motorized riding equipment.
• Load or unload trailers manually, including large items like grills, safes, kayaks, etc.
• Transport products to staging or processing areas.
• Load outbound trailers.
• Route received merchandise to storage and identify it positively.
• Use scanners to read barcodes on labels and products.
• Operate equipment in storage racking up to 30 ft high.
• Perform safety checks regularly.
• Assist with daily cleanup duties.
• Drive equipment for 75% or more of work time.
• Perform manual or physical duties as needed based on DC requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum age: 18
• Successful completion of a driving and written test is required.

• Ability to obtain machine certification.
