Job summary

Amrize in Bridgeton, MO is seeking an Equipment Operator to transport materials around the sand and gravel site, operate front end loaders and other heavy equipment, and help maintain plant operations.

This full-time hourly role requires a strong work ethic, ability to perform physical tasks in all weather, and adherence to safety protocols and PPE requirements. MSHA certification is preferred, and overtime may be scheduled.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma preferred.
• MSHA certification preferred.
• Experience in construction, sand and gravel or quarry environment preferred.
• Ability to perform rigorous physical activities in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate front end loaders and skid steer loaders as required by site needs.
• Inspect equipment each shift, complete inspection sheets and report problems.
• Maintain plant equipment; greasing bearings, changing belts and wear parts.
• Walk the site to observe conveyors and identify safety issues.
• Perform safety-conscious housekeeping to ensure a safe working environment.
