Job summary

Oldcastle, a CRH company, is seeking a skilled operator to run and maintain concrete production equipment. The role requires practical experience in a manufacturing environment, ability to read safety and maintenance documents, and physical stamina for lifting up to 75 lbs.

Training in Masa equipment and cross-training across production processes are expected. We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits; pre-employment screening is required, and safety PPE is provided.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing/industrial environment experience preferred.
• Requires pre-employment drug screening and background check
• At least 2 years of experience operating similar equipment
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Ability to read and comprehend documents such as safety procedures, operating and maintenance instructions
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 75 lbs., extended standing, walking, sitting, bending, climbing, working inside and outside, and use of fall protection equipment
• Must wear company provided PPE - earplugs, hard hat, safety boots/shoes, high visibility vest/shirt and protective glasses.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain concrete handling (Masa) equipment safely and efficiently
• Inspect the quality of products according to standards, and adjust settings as necessary
• Detect and report any equipment malfunctions and quality issues to Plant Supervisor
• Assist in maintaining accurate production flow and reporting
• Perform machine clean-up, set-up, and other functions associated with product changes
• Execute Daily and Business fundamentals
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Plant Manager, Supervisor, and Lead Machine Operator
• Willing and able to cross-train on other aspects of the production process
• Other duties may be assigned as needed
