P&K Stone LLC in Mill Creek, OK is seeking a Loader/Equipment Operator to join our team. The role involves operating heavy mobile equipment such as front end loaders, dozers, excavators, skid steer, and haul trucks. You will perform pre-shift inspections, work safely, and support yard loading and maintenance while following MSHA and site rules.

Strong English communication and teamwork are essential. A minimum of 2 years of heavy equipment experience and a high school diploma or GED are

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience operating heavy equipment.
• Ability to read and follow safety rules and MSHA standards.
• English reading/writing/speaking required.
• Ability to work scheduled shift hours, overtime and weekends.
• Good teamwork and ability to communicate via two-way radio.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily or pre-shift inspections and operate equipment safely.

• Assist with cleanup and keep tools and areas safe.
• Adhere to safety rules and complete tasks in a fast-paced environment.

P&K Stone LLC is seeking a Loader/Equipment Operator to become a part of our team!

The Loader/Equipment Operator is responsible for operation of heavy mobile equipment. This would include, but not limited to, front end loaders, dozer, excavator, skid steer loader, and haul truck.

Job Responsibilities

• All Equipment Operators are responsible for daily or pre-shift inspections on equipment, and for operating the equipment safely.
• The Equipment Operator has the responsibility of being able to operate all mobile and heavy-duty equipment on site (dozers, loaders, haul truck, etc.)
• Will perform clean-up work as necessary to keep tools, equipment, and working areas clean, orderly and safe.
• Must comply with company safety rules and regulations
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to be multi-diversified in performing other related duties such as maintenance/repair, and yard loading when needed
• Ability to understand, interpret, and execute instructions given in both verbal and written form
• Recognize potentially hazardous situations
• Adhere to MSHA and plant safety rules and regulations
• Must Wear proper safety equipment while on plant grounds
• Meet or exceed company safety standards
• Maintain good customer relationships while delivering exceptional customer service by acknowledging and greeting everyone who comes on site.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in operating heavy equipment

Physical Requirements

• Must be willing to handle continuous exposure to extreme heat, extreme cold, extreme noise, and working outdoors.
• Must be able to perform all job functions which include, but may not be limited to walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, turning, climbing to a significant degree, and/or pulling of controls.
• Exerting up to 100 pounds of force.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear in order to communicate to employees/visitors, as well as function safely around heavy rolling equipment.
• Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree.
• Job involves sitting most of the time, but also involves walking or standing for brief periods of time
• Must be able to perform all job functions which include, but may not be limited to, pushing, turning, and/or pulling of controls
