MasTec Renewables seeks an experienced Equipment Operator to support heavy civil, industrial, and renewables projects across Texas. You will operate excavators, dozers, loaders, and other equipment to perform earthwork, grading, and material handling in field environments.
The role emphasizes safety, daily equipment maintenance, and collaboration with crews. A high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years of related experience are required; hourly wages range from $26 to $28.
Responsible for operating various types of equipment, including but not limited to excavator (20 ton Class or smaller), dozer (150 HP or smaller), loaders (Under 4 CY), >12k forklifts, backhoe, articulated dump truck, and applicable light equipment to perform construction task, such as material handling, matting, land clearing, excavation, rough grade roadways and sites, underground utility work for various types of heavy civil, industrial, and wind projects.
