Responsibilities

• Operates bulldozers, motor graders, and front-end loaders to clear and level land for roads and sites.
• Operates trucks to transport materials or haul brush/debris, gravel, dirt.
• Performs basic maintenance on heavy equipment including oil changes and fluid checks.
• May assist in unskilled/semi-skilled labor tasks and in training other workers.
• Oversees an inmate work crew and ensures safety and security at all times.
• Regular and predictable attendance is required.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
