All employees must also submit proof of identity and employment eligibility.JOB DESCRIPTION:This position is responsible for operating a variety of equipment and performing essential maintenance activities that support safe and efficient street operations.Key Responsibilities:Operates equipment such as dump trucks (including plow and sander attachments during snow operations), asphalt rollers, mowers, weed eaters, and other machinery as assigned.Assists in snow removal operations and other emergency response activities as needed.Trains employees in lower classifications on the proper and safe operation of equipment.Performs routine maintenance checks on assigned equipment and reports any issues.Completes additional related duties as required to support street maintenance and division goals.Ability to work in all weather conditionsOther duties assignedQUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma or GED. Valid Kansas Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), Class B with air brake endorsement and automobile insurance.
