Job summary

MasTec, Inc. in Texas is seeking an experienced heavy equipment operator to perform construction tasks on wind, civil, industrial, and utility projects.

You will operate front end loaders, motor graders, excavators, dozers, scrapers, and related machinery to prepare and grade sites as well as assist with underground utilities. The role requires compliance with safety standards and the ability to work outdoors in varied conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment (loaders, grader, excavator, dozer, scraper) to perform land clearing and grading tasks.
• Support underground utility work and wind project site operations as required.

Position Summary

Responsible for operating various types of heavy equipment, including but not limited to front end loaders (4CY or greater), motor grader, excavator (20 ton class or larger), dozer, scraper, tractor – pan, track hoe, skid pan, trencher, and applicable light and medium equipment to perform construction task such as land clearing, common/mass excavation, pond/reservoir excavation, rough grade/finish grade roadway, underground utility work for various types of heavy civil, industrial, and wind projects.
