Job summary

Curtis Contracting, Inc. in Virginia seeks an experienced operator for diverse heavy construction equipment (graders, bulldozers, scrapers, tractors, loaders) to excavate, move and grade earth and to erect structures or pour concrete. You may perform maintenance like lubrication, inspection and cleaning to keep equipment ready for use.

Requirements include 3–5 years of experience preferred. A GPS-based grading capability is a plus, and dependable transportation is required to report to site

Qualifications

• Operate power construction equipment to excavate, move and grade earth on projects such as roads, parking lots and building pads.
• GPS knowledge for establishing grades is a plus.
• 3–5 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate one or several types of heavy construction equipment to establish grades on various phases of new construction and to support site work.
• Perform routine maintenance including lubrication, inspection and cleaning of equipment.
