Job summary

Southeast Connections, LLC is seeking skilled workers to perform construction and maintenance on gas distribution, underground utilities, and gas service lines. You will operate backhoe, excavator, plows, trenchers or bore machines under the foreman’s direction and interact with the public.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 3 years of prior operating experience, a valid driver’s license with a clean record and the ability to obtain a CDL, gas construction experience, and a

• 3 years of prior operating experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and the ability to obtain a CDL.
• Gas construction experience and a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate backhoe, excavator, vibratory or static plows, trenchers or directional bore machines to install, remove or maintain underground utilities and pipe installation.
• Perform construction and maintenance duties related to gas distribution and underground utilities.
• Work with foreman and interact with the public.
• Load materials or equipment for transport to job sites and secure as appropriate.
• Follow safety policies and procedures per DC, LLC standards and the utility customer.
• Secure work site, equipment and materials at end of shift.
