Job summary

SanMar is seeking an Equipment Operator in Washington to safely locate and move products using an RF unit, restock and fulfill customer orders, and maintain equipment in good condition.

You will operate powered lift equipment, load/unload, and ensure compliance with safety guidelines while maintaining lift certification every three years.

Qualifications

• Experience operating RF scanners and lift equipment.
• Ability to load, unload and stage products efficiently.
• Capable of picking and packing products for orders.
• Maintain lift equipment daily and participate in certification renewal.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered lift equipment to move product using an RF unit to scan movement and locate locations.
• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product.
• Restock, pick, and pack product for customer orders.
• Inspect equipment daily and ensure it is returned in good condition.
• Follow procedures for care and use of equipment, including keys.
• Adhere to safety requirements and OSHA guidelines, renewing Lift Operator Certification every three years.

$21.50 - $28.00 Per hour ($1.00 differential shift)

What's the Short Version?

The Equipment Operator safely and efficiently locates product by using a radio frequency (RF) unit, manually pulls product from locations, and transports product to various departments and/or locations. They process a portion of customer orders throughout the production day and restock product into bins.

What Will You Be Doing?

• Operate powered lift equipment to move product and materials as assigned using a radio frequency (RF) unit to scan movement of product, identify locations, etc.
• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product.
• Restock, pick, and pack product for customer orders.
• Inspect assigned equipment daily at start of shift; is responsible for checking out equipment and returning in same condition on a daily basis.
• Follow procedures for proper care and use of equipment, to include keys.
• Adhere to all safety requirements and guidelines.
• Complete and maintain SanMar's Lift Operator Certification in compliance with OSHA guidelines every three years.
