Job summary

Davis H. Elliot Company, Inc. is a full-service electrical contractor that handles overhead and underground distribution, transmission, substations, lighting, and more.

We are seeking an Equipment Operator to perform ditching and trenching for house and subdivision services, including trenching with trenchers and hand digging where access is limited. The role requires experience with excavators, ability to lead a crew, willingness to travel, and a Class A CDL or eligibility.

Qualifications

• Experience with excavators of all sizes and crossing/digging across utilities.
• Ability to effectively lead a crew.
• Willing to travel when necessary.
• Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a Class A CDL.

Responsibilities

• Ditching of new house services, sub-division services, and large trench projects to the customer’s satisfaction.
• Trenching with trenchers and hand digging in congested areas or where equipment cannot access.
• Learn to work around, and in, electric equipment.
