Job summary

Kokosing is seeking two Equipment Operators for the Blue Plains wastewater treatment plant project in Washington, DC. At least five years of related experience and specific experience with Brokk concrete demolition equipment are required.

Candidates should be prepared for 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. shifts, must follow safety protocols, perform routine maintenance, and assist crews when needed. Kokosing offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years related experience and/or training.
• Experience with concrete demolition.
• Must pass safety test.

Responsibilities

• Performs concrete demolition.
• Checks fluids before starting engine.
• Receives written or oral instructions from supervisor.
• Performs routine maintenance such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning.
• Observes and understands markings on ground, hand signals, or grade stakes.
• Operates equipment in safe and responsible manner.
• When Operator work is not available, assists crews by performing other duties as requested.
