Sierra Pacific Industries is seeking an Equipment Operator at the Quincy Sawmill in Quincy, CA. The role loads/unloads log trucks, sorts logs by species, and operates heavy machinery in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have loader experience, can work varying shifts, and are prepared for overtime. Company benefits include health, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Formación

• 2 years’ prior loader operating experience preferred.
• Proven ability to recognize and sort logs by species.
• All applicants must be at least age 18

Responsabilidades

• Operate frontend loader to load/unload log trucks.
• Sort logs by species and feed logs to the sawmill.
• Climb ladders on heavy equipment and operate machinery.
• Learn to operate chipper, heel boom loader, and plow snow with the loader in the winter.
• The work is fast-paced and can, at times, be demanding.
• Repetitive lifting and working in both hot and cold work environments
• Work may consist of various shifts, with some overtime and weekend work during busy production times

Compensation & Benefits

Up to $1,500 hiring bonus! Heavy Equipment Operators earn $35.43 per hour. We train and promote from within. Excellent low-cost health benefits. Retirement plan with employer-paid contributions. Paid vacation and 10 holidays.

About The Position
