Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Equipment Operator to be responsible for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and cleaning of a variety of machinery used on the ranch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a range of heavy machinery, including tractors, dozers, mowers, and other ranch equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment, cleaning, lubrication, minor repairs and maintenance
• Inspect equipment before and after use to ensure it is in safe working condition.
• Wash and clean equipment after use, maintaining its longevity and appearance.
• Assist with the transportation of equipment to different locations as needed.
• Work closely with the ranch management team to coordinate the use of equipment for various tasks, such as land clearing, land scaping and erosion control.
• Keep detailed records of equipment maintenance and service history.
• Adhere to all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Be at work every workday on time.

Pay Rate: $21/HR

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating heavy equipment, preferably in a construction or ranching environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
• Live in the Magnolia, Montgomery, or Navasota area.

Physical Requirements:

• Comfortable working in outdoor, sometimes physically demanding conditions.
• Ability to sit and operate machinery for extended periods.
