Job summary

UpTalent in Midland, TX is seeking an Equipment Operator to deliver PSD safely and efficiently to customers. You will prepare equipment, participate in pre-job meetings with the crew, and maintain the gear to high safety and reliability standards. Open to any experience level, including newly licensed CDL drivers.

Class A CDL with no restrictions is required (eye/vision restrictions are OK). Housing provided and a $30 daily per diem; pay rate is $18–$23 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Class A CDL with no restrictions required.
• Eye/vision restrictions are acceptable.
• Open to all experience levels, including new CDL drivers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, efficient PSD to customers.
• Identify opportunities to improve service and assist crews.
• Ensure deliverables are accurate and on time.
• Participate in pre-job and toolbox meetings.
• Maintain equipment safety and report issues.
• Ensure personal and crew safety; wear PPE and follow HSE policies.
• Prepare equipment for rig up and rig down times.
• Operate equipment according to competency level.
• Maintain required safety training.

Job Summary:

• The Equipment Operator is responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and reliable PSD to customers.


• The Equipment Operator identifies opportunities to improve service delivery and assists field and maintenance crews with preparing equipment for operations.


• Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.


• Participate in pre-job and Toolbox meetings with crew members.


• Maintain good, safe working order of equipment according to standards, reporting problems or deviations.


• Ensure individual and crew work safety.


• Prepare equipment for rig up and rig down times.


• Operate the equipment according to competency level and job requirement.


• Wear PPE and observe HSE policies.


• Maintain the required safety training.

Education / Certifications:

• Minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
