Job summary

Quikrete is seeking an Equipment Operator for our Elberton, GA plant. You will operate equipment to support daily production and assist with general plant tasks in a hands-on, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities include equipment operation, basic maintenance, welding and fabrication as needed, and identifying safety hazards. A minimum of 1 year of equipment experience and solid communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year of experience operating equipment (loader, haul truck, water truck, skid steer).
• General mechanical knowledge.
• Good organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.

• Operate equipment in support of daily plant production.
• Inspect plant areas and perform basic maintenance, repairs, and screen changes.
• Complete welding and fabrication tasks as needed.
• Identify safety hazards or equipment issues and respond appropriately.
