Hickman\'s Family Farms in Arizona is seeking an experienced Equipment Operator to run and maintain heavy machinery to support daily operations at our Harquahala/Tonopah site. You will transport materials, assist in production, and complete tasks safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, loaders, tractors, and other machinery, following safety protocols.
• Safely transport materials across the site, loading/unloading as needed for production.
• Inspect equipment and perform routine maintenance checks, report issues to maintenance.
• Follow designated routes to maintain order and safety on site.
• Assist in organizing storage areas and moving materials to designated locations.
• Perform minor repairs and coordinate with maintenance for larger repairs.
• Adhere to biosecurity and environmental regulations, keeping equipment clean.
• Document equipment usage and maintenance per company policy.
• Support other teams, assisting in production, cleanup, or other tasks.

The Equipment Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining heavy machinery and equipment to support the daily operations at Hickmans Egg Ranch. This role involves safely handling machinery to transport materials, assist in production, and complete various tasks as needed. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, skilled in operating multiple types of equipment, and committed to contributing to an efficient and productive work environment.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Operate various types of heavy equipment, including forklifts, loaders, tractors, and other machinery, following all safety protocols and company guidelines.
• Safely transport materials across the site, including loading and unloading goods as required for production and operational needs.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal functionality and report any issues to the maintenance team.
• Follow designated routes and pathways to maintain order and safety on site, minimizing disruptions to other operations.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining storage areas by moving materials to designated locations.
• Perform minor repairs and adjustments on equipment as needed, coordinating with maintenance for larger repairs.
• Adhere to all biosecurity and environmental regulations, ensuring equipment is cleaned and maintained to prevent cross-contamination.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit, stand, and operate heavy machinery for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working outdoors and in various environmental conditions, including exposure to dust, heat, and noise.
