Job description

Our client, a leader in the recycling industry, is seeking an Equipment Operator to join their team. As an Equipment Operator, you will be part of a dedicated workforce supporting essential operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:

Equipment Operator

Pay Range:

$21+ depending on experience

What’s the Job?
  1. Operate various heavy machinery, including forklift, payloader, hook truck, and excavator in a recycling center.
  2. Ensure safety protocols are followed while performing equipment operations.
  3. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  4. Collaborate with team members to efficiently manage recycling operations.
  5. Assist in training new operators on equipment usage and safety practices.
What’s Needed?
  1. Proven experience operating forklifts, payloaders, hook trucks, and excavators.
  2. Ability to work the night shift, Sunday through Thursday from 11 PM to 8:30 AM.
  3. Strong understanding of safety regulations and practices in heavy machinery operation.
  4. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  5. Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a fast-paced environment.
